Lower Southampton Elementary CEO Program
(Children's Environmental Outreach)
Do YOU want to help your school? Do YOU want to help your community? Do You want to earn some community service hours? Then consider becoming a CEO at Lower Southampton!!! The CEO program is a children's environmental outreach experience in volunteerism. Using team spirit skills, learned skills in environmental science and problem solving, you will become an active participant in this exciting school and community outreach program. Activities will include continued garden and wildlife habitat development here at Lower Southampton, working with local senior citizens, volunteering at local nature centers, and community beautification projects. Students, staff, parents, senior citizens and community businesses, are encouraged to work together to build good community relationships. Participation will take place during and after school. This is an exciting opportunity to teach your child the meaning of commitment and volunteering to help their school and their community. This year seventy-four students grades K-5 are participating in
CEO this school year. Students recently participated in Fall clean up of the
