Text Box: PTA CHATTER The PTA functions on the generosity and volunteer efforts of our members and school community. It is only through the support of our fantastic LOSO community that our PTA is able to provide the funding needed for class trips, assemblies, school events, and building needs. June Happenings The PTA Chatter serves to highlight upcoming events each month. Look for flyers to come home with complete details. Market Day Pickup – Monday, June 11th – Pick up your Market Day order from 5:00 – 5:45pm in the school gym. If you would like to volunteer your time to help sort orders please arrive in the gym at 4:00pm. Friendly’s Nights - Tuesday, June 12th and Thursday, June 14th from 4-9 p.m. Join your friends at Friendly’s during these times for a fun night out and the PTA receives 10% back to fund building needs. Ongoing Fundraisers Tee-shirts/Sweatshirts – Flyers have been sent home and are available in the school office with information on our new updated apparel line-up the PTA will be selling throughout the year. Or, contact Kelly Merlino at 215-354-0405 and she will gladly assist you. Don’t forget tee-shirts are great for class trips and Field Day! Box Tops and Receipts – The PTA earns cash back to support our school through certain programs that are free and easy. General Mills Box Tops returns 10 cents for each education box top that you clip from their products. Acme Markets and Genuardi’s also provide a 1% rebate on your purchases. Send in to school your education box tops and Acme receipts. Register your Genuardi’s card with www.escrip.com or call 1-800-801-4973. Spring Fair Update The Spring Fair was a huge success! Thanks to all of the volunteers who gave of their time to help during this event, those who came out in support of this great day, and the many families and businesses who contributed to the raffle baskets. It would never have been as successful without the generous support and volunteer nature of our community!
